A Dissociative Identity is Not a Fractured Identity After All

For something to be fractured or fragmented, it must be whole at some point prior to the fracture occurring.
A dissociative identity is not actually a fractured identity because it was never one whole consciousness to begin with.
Rather, as the consciousness (personality, sense of self, unique mind) begins to form as a child, the process is interrupted by a need greater than can be presently met, & the entire direction of how the consciousness develops is severely altered.
There are both benefits & downsides to this occurring, but the benefits may not be explored until the dissociative identity itself is discovered & managed effectively for the safety & success of the individual's sake.
