How often do we make someone else the main character of our story?🃏 Within this miraculous storybook of our lives, we write a page each day.📖 Every unfolding moment creates a new sentence.📝 How often do we postpone happiness until "XYZ" happens or "ABC" person returns our affections?⏳ How often do we prioritize others over our own wellbeing?🙇🏼‍♀️ How often are our desires in the hands of another rather than within our own palms?🤲🏼 How often are our thoughts, feelings, and attentions placed on other people, rather than our own inner being?👥💕 Far too often are the reins of our lives given to other people.😿😔 I used to depend so much on others to validate me, fulfill me, encourage me, make me feel happy or content or safe.🥺😰 I kept thinking, Once I connect deeper with my family... Once my circle of friends grows larger... Once I'm dating someone amazing... Once I find a doctor who can heal me... Once I find a bestie who fully understands me...
